The Ottawa-Gatineau Climbers' Access
Coalition is a not for profit volunteer organization of rock climbers
from the Ottawa and Gatineau area working together to ensure continued
access to climbing in Gatineau Park. The Coalition consists of members
from various groups and individuals who climb in the park, including
representatives from both climbing gyms, Ottawa and Outaouais sections
of the Alpine Club of Canada as well as other stakeholders.
Taken together, the Coalitions' interests span the various disciplines
that are practiced, ranging from bouldering, to sport and trad climbing.
Our primary mission is to work with the National Capital Commission to
ensure climbing access to the park, and to provide information to the
climbing community with regard to environmentally sustainable climbing.
We encourage every one to get involved.
