Climbing access to the Gatineau Park is at risk!
The NCC has again proposed to severly restrict climbing activites on the Eardley escarpment. This proposal is based on significant misunderstanding of the current practices of rock climbing and it's impacts to the ecosystems in which the activity occurs.
We encourage everyone to support us in our efforts to work out an access agreement with the NCC that will ensure the long term ecological integrity of the escarpment and still provide access to the healthy and enjoyable sport that is rock climbing.
